Invest in the future of Dutch bookkeeping
Boekhoud Buddies is modernizing bookkeeping for the Netherlands' 1.3 million freelancers. We're raising seed funding to accelerate growth and capture a massive underserved market.
A massive, underserved market
The Netherlands has one of Europe's highest concentrations of freelancers, and most use outdated, overpriced tools — or nothing at all.

How investing works
We use a Post-Money SAFE (Simple Agreement for Future Equity) — the gold standard for seed-stage fundraising, based on Y Combinator's template.
Express Interest
Fill out the interest form below or schedule an introductory call. We'll walk you through the product, vision, and growth plan.
Receive SAFE Agreement
We send you a post-money SAFE agreement via DocuSign, drafted from Y Combinator's standard template through Stripe Atlas.
Sign Electronically
Both parties sign the SAFE electronically via DocuSign. No paperwork, no notary needed. Fast and fully digital.
Transfer Funds
Wire the investment amount to the company's US bank account. Your SAFE converts to equity at the next priced round.
What is a Post-Money SAFE?
A SAFE (Simple Agreement for Future Equity) is a lightweight investment instrument created by Y Combinator. It's the most popular way to raise seed funding for startups.
In a post-money SAFE, your ownership percentage is calculated as a share of the company after all SAFEs have converted. For example, a $500K investment on a $5M post-money cap equals 10% ownership at conversion.
The SAFE converts to equity at the next priced round (e.g., Series A). Until then, there are no shares issued — making it fast, simple, and cost-effective for both parties.
Our SAFEs are facilitated through Stripe Atlas using Y Combinator's standard templates, reviewed by Cooley LLP. All signatures are handled electronically via DocuSign.
